Example scenario

Saturday booking at 8 PM. At 8 PM the day before, SMS goes out. Guest replies YES — table stays. Silence marks the slot available for walk-ins.

No-shows mean lost revenue and wasted prime tables. A T-24h reminder is the cheapest insurance before a busy weekend.

When it runs

The playbook starts automatically when Coldbot tags a call or event as: “24 hours before calendar reservation”. You can narrow filters (location, channel, business hours) without changing the voice script.

Can we change copy and timing?

Yes — triggers, filters, SMS templates, and quiet hours are fully configurable in the dashboard or with our team.

Is this included in setup?

One playbook is configured during onboarding; additional playbooks are added per package or integration bundle.

How do we test before go-live?

Sandbox numbers, test calls, and a dry-run checklist — we do not enable production SMS until you approve samples.

Can I change the window from 24h to 48h?

Yes — schedule is configurable per location.

Can guests reschedule from the SMS?
